Armed with a camera and a penchant for adventure Guerrilla Tactics’ lifetime of travel ensured that her first project saw her take a Greyhound from New Orleans to Mexico City to make a documentary before spending a month filming a dance film in Nigeria. Never settling in one place for too long - having been born in Russia, educated in England and studied dance in the Caribbean - Guerrilla Tactics learnt to adapt to new environments quickly and from the beginning used this experience to specialize in international on-location shoots. Subsequently also filming in Russia, Indonesia and France.

 

Most likely to be found trawling your grandmas basement for obscure vintage vinyl, watching Korean thrillers or moonlighting as the self appointed cheerleader for the city of New Orleans, she draws on an eclectic bank of inspiration. Being one of the few music video directors with a degree in dance and a passion for underground dance style her ultimate mission is to combine her love of dance and travel to deliver high octane visuals that elicit a visceral impact.
